I'm a full-time freelance writer, author of over twenty published books (you can check out my web site or search my name "Joan Esherick" at amazon.com for the books I've written), and contributor to dozens of print periodicals. I'm also a professional speaker, trainer, and writer's conference faculty member.

Together, my husband and I breed and train Labrador retrievers (we're a very small, high-quality breeder located in PA, offering only two litters per year).

In my spare time, I operate a small e-bay store specializing in Boyds moose collectibles (resin and plush), hard-to-find Christian books, inexpensive Bible-study reference tools, and Labrador retriever training resources.

For fun, I operate three blogs:

• Lab Tails (about our life with five Labrador retrievers) and
• One Writer's Window (about the writing life and writing for publication)
• Teacher's Tips, Tools, and Topics (for Bible study teachers and leaders)

On a personal note, I'm married to my best friend and husband of 25 years, we have three grown children (all in college right now), and we share our lives with our children and our five Labardor retrievers. :o)
